Discipleship Series; 29 March, 2014

Numbers 13:29, The Amalekites dwell in the land of the South; the Hittites, the Jebusites, and the Amorites dwell in the mountains; and the Canaanites dwell by the sea and along the banks of the Jordan.

We ended yesterday’s devotional with this paragraph; “With all these barricades, blockages and oppositions; it would suggest that all avenues and passes were blocked. Naturally, it seemed impossible to enter the land, talk much less possessing it. Do you identify with this experience? Is that how you currently feel with respect to God’s promises to you? Do not lose heart; God has surprises for your enemies, as He did for all the enemies of the Israelites because He was with them.”

Do you feel edged in on every side by well-established and highly organised oppositions? Do you feel powerless against your adversaries and adversities? Is that ailment racking your body so much, and there is nothing the doctors can do about it to help you? Is your financial situation so bad that creditors are closing in so fast, and there seem to be no way out?

Because God is on your side and for you as He was with the Israelites, just like He made a way for them and they did not only enter the Promised Land, they possessed it – God will make a way for you.

Prayer: Good God! Please make a way out for me from every difficult situation, in Jesus’ name.
