Discipleship Series; 31 March, 2021 

Ecclesiastes 3:1, To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.

Beloved, if God is for you – you are a winner. But if God is against you – you are a loser, as nobody can deliver you from His hands when He rises against you; Isaiah 43:13, Indeed before the day was, I am He; And there is no one who can deliver out of My hand; I work, and who will reverse it?”

The understanding above, we said Christ had that made Him choose (at all times) to be on the side of the Father, doing the Father’s will, even when He (Christ) naturally wanted something else; John 6:38, For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

We now turn to the first of the three (3) questions we asked as we begin to attempt answering and shedding light on that question, which is not actually a question, but a pointer to help us;

“Was/is it time by God’s reckoning; timing and way (manner)?”

Matthew 4:1 – 4, Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry. Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.” But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.'”

PRAYER: Oh God! Give me understanding of Your time and timing, in the name of Jesus Christ.
