Discipleship Series; 27 August 2023 

DECLARATION: My joy starts now and incrementally lasts forever, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Romans 5:8 – 9; But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.

What does Satan know? What do you know? What do I know?

But from Scriptures, we know that God uses Satan and opposition as an opportunity to bless! This, we are very sure of, and we are to take comfort and solace in, for the Bible says this below:

Romans 8:28; And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

The funny and beautiful thing is that he (Satan) is making the same mistake with you and your life by attacking you, as he made with Job, Joseph and even our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. All you need and have to do is stay steady and faithful to God in and during your challenge (this one and any that may come) – God will through same challenge exalt and promote you – you can be rest assured of that fact!

1 Peter 5:10; But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.

If Satan and your opposition know/knew – they would have left you as you were, not providing the test, trial and challenges that would lead to your elevation and promotion. In the words of the Psalmist, as it just came to mind as I am writing; Psalm 30:5; For His anger is but for a moment, His favour is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.

Beloved of God, let me congratulate you upfront, perhaps before anyone; “Your weeping has come to an end, and your joy begins now!”

PRAYER: Oh God! Let my joy start now and last forever, incrementally, in the name of Jesus Christ.
