Discipleship Series; 11 January 2024 

DECLARATION: The will of God is done and established, starting in my life and home, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Revelation 4:11; You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power; For You created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created.

We are returning to our ongoing series that we were examining and studying before briefly taking a break to discuss Christmas and the importance, as well as the significance of a new year, and how to make the most of the new year and getting the best out of life in general.

Let us do a brief reminder of where we were and how we got to where we were before we had the brief break.

We have had many meanderings on this ongoing series, but the key one that was nearest to where we were before the break was, where and when we were talking about ‘us doing and not doing the will of God, and the consequences, as well as the impact on us, and what our not doing the will of God is and means to God; His will way and purpose for us.’

Hebrews 10:7 – 9; Then I said, “Behold, I have come–In the volume of the book it is written of Me–To do Your will, O God.” Previously saying, “Sacrifice and offering, burnt offerings, and offerings for sin You did not desire, nor had pleasure in them” (which are offered according to the law), then He said, “Behold, I have come to do Your will, O God.” He takes away the first that He may establish the second.

Although this stems from the point where and when we were writing about people, those God had put in places of authority, starting from our homes but are refusing to take a stand for God, irrespective of the consequences, and when such leaders take their stand, they are met with and by opposition from those who they are leading, who unfortunately are supported by the society and the various constitutions of the nations, which we said, had been tactically ingrained by Satan to work and war against God, His word, will and way – which is invariably transferring authority and power to Satan.

PRAYER: Oh God! Let Your will be done, and Your Kingdom come, in the name of Jesus Christ.
