Discipleship Series; 29 June 2024 

DECLARATION: Every form of ungodly weakness is removed from our men, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

1 Timothy 3:4 – 5; He must manage his own household well, keeping his children under control with all dignity [keeping them respectful and well-behaved] (for if a man does not know how to manage his own household, how will he take care of the church of God?).

These days, we hear males talking like the females – “my mental health, my space, my peace of mind, my this, and my that.” For any of these girly attitudes and behaviours, who do we blame and hold accountable, when they have been raised like the females to be in touch with and governed by their feelings and emotions, something God did not ordain for the man – the traditional male?

1 Corinthians 11:2; Now I praise you, brethren, that you remember me in all things and keep the traditions just as I delivered them to you.

All these happen because they have not been trained to be responsible and duty-bound (irrespective of what may happen or be happening) as a man should and ought to be, since they have been taught and raised to be in touch with their feelings and emotions, like their female counterparts. These men become weaklings and irresponsible, not wanting to marry due to the responsibilities involved, the girls become baby-mamas (unmarried women with children who have no father figures in their lives – living with them), and those babies are raised by a woman without a father-figure, then the ugly cycle continues!

1 Corinthians 11:3 – 4; But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God…

The above is because their male counterparts have been taught and raised to be in touch with their feelings and emotions, rather than to be moved and governed by duties, responsibilities, and assignments as a tradition and real male should be, as they (males) shy and run away from the duties and responsibilities of a man and fatherhood, even at the slight sighting of challenge.

PRAYER: Oh God! Whatever must be done to make our men the way You designed them originally to be – please do, in the name of Jesus Christ.
